I'll be visiting the Westover Towers at 11am on Saturday, March 8th to
look into an outage in their setup of 4 WDS-connected access points.
I'd appreciate it if someone can meet me there to help out.

Thanks,
Don

The trip was successful. I met Sam Churchill and Russell Senior there.
There is one AP on each of the 4 floors. Each AP is in a resident's
apartment except the first floor which is in the manager's office. The
1st floor AP was fine, so was the nucab. The 2nd floor AP had been
reset so we restored its WDS settings. The 3rd floor AP was unplugged
so that got re-plugged. The 4th floor AP was in an apartment with
noone home so we couldn't fix that but its likely that its simply
unplugged. Victoria, the manager, will be looking into that later.

On the way back from westover, we stopped in at Old Town Pizza because
Stephan had reported an outage there. The node was beaconing and
associating but not giving DHCP. The nucab in the basement (shanghi
tunnels?) was running so we hunted around for the AP (probably an
unplugged ethernet cable). With a phone call from Aaron Baer we
learned the AP is in a locked closed with the stereo equipment so we
couldn't do much until the closet was unlocked. The manager on duty
had no keys to that door.

The other open APs (The Boiler Room next door, MetroFi-Free, and CC
Slaughter's across the street) were all not working, which was
strange.

Reviewing the cacti logs for Old Town Pizza, there have been no
associations since the third week of the year (mid-January). People
need to complain more.
